At present, the basic marking of rolled steel wheels adopts the cold-typing method, and is engraved on the inner end surface of the wheel hub, with the height of the characters of 9mm～15mm, the depth of the characters of not less than 0.2mm, and the characters are clear and complete; and the distance from the lower baseline of the font to the edge of the wheel hub hole is not less than 10mm.

The basic markings of cast steel wheels mainly include the year and month of manufacture, code of manufacturing unit, code of steel type of wheel, code of cast steel wheel, model of wheel, and sequence number of wheel.
